Early Voting Machine in Ohio Switching Romney Vote to Obama

November 1, 2012 at 5:26 am

Well, this isn’t a good sign. At least one early voting machinein Ohio, the state that could make or break the election, is switching Romney votes to Obama votes on the screen.

Joan Stevens was one of several early voters at the polls on Monday. But when Stevens tried to cast her ballot for president, she noticed a problem.

Upon selecting “Mitt Romney” on the electronic touch screen, Barack Obama’s name lit up.

It took Stevens three tries before her selection was accurately recorded.

“You want to vote for who you want to vote for, and when you can’t it’s irritating,” Stevens said.

Does this surprise anyone? I just want to know who would vote for a man who said; I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in abn ugly direction?.” Page 261, Paperback edition of “The Audacity of Hope.” Why can he not label Terrorists as Terrorists? This is all I need to know and can discount all of the other Socialist acts to know that this alone in not what an American should believe.

    • Madison says:

The actual quote from page 261 reads like this…” Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

When you say Obama isn’t labeling “Terrorists as Terrorists” what group/s exactly are you talking about? In other words, who is he not labeling as a terrorist?

After 9/11, don’t you think it was prudent to reassure scared Muslim Americans that the government wouldn’t hunt them all down and put them in camps like we did with the Japanese? And because Obama agreed with this idea, THAT is why your not voting for him?

There also is no need to discount any “Socialist acts” either. Obama has never mentioned anything about taking away the right to private property nor has he advocated for social ownership of any kind. If he is a socialist as you say, (and therefore against capitalism) why did the stock market double in just two years? Why didn’t he just nationalize the healthcare industry when he had Congress? May I humbly suggest you look up the word “Socialist”? I think you may be surprised by what the term actually means.

      • Big D says:

Apparently your not paying attention or maybe your head is to far in the sand. “Socialist Acts” are all around. Open your eyes. Stock market did not double typical liberal spin. After one of the biggest crashes in history it bounced back but double NOT. If you know anything about the market the only thing it doesn’t like is uncertainty. Once your NONE socialist health care bill was shoved down our throats then the market recovered. UH why am I wasting my time with you………………………….

    • Not all Muslims are terrorists. They’re an incredibly peaceful people. You are showing incredible ignorance.

That machine needs to be impounded and investigated. Perhaps early voting is the beta test.

  3. Madison says:

The “Breaking News” that voting machines are changing votes to Obama was reported by The Marion Star (the Ohio county newspaper) on Oct. 31st. Here is a link to the article: http://www.marionstar.com/article/20121031/NEWS03/310310009/Problem-found-board-elections?nclick_check=1

I find it strange that this website doesn’t credit the marionstar.com article, even though they partially quote it word for word. That is plagiarism, and you could be sued by them. Just a friendly FYI.

To save the lazy from reading the whole article, I’ll summarize it for you… Basically, Joan Stevens didn’t know how to use a touch screen device properly. When Stevens tried to push the button for ROMNEY, OBAMA lit up as her selection. Since that was incorrect, she cleared it three times before she was able to get ROMNEY to light up. She appropriately complained to the local supervisor, who checked the machine and found no problems with selecting candidates. No other voters mentioned a problem with the machine either. Still, the supervisor called in a technician to re-calibrate the touch-screen. The manufacturer of the machine said the trouble was probably a result of having two fingers on the screen at one time.

All votes from Ohio should be scraped if one voter fraud case is proven.

  5. Big D says:

I love the typical lib that comes on here trying to distract from the actual topic. VOTER FRAUD and all reports are Rommney votes being changed on the screen to Obama. No hacking there….This is happening every where people. Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Carolina’s. Oaklahoma, Arizona and of coarse Ohio.
