Last year I had the honor of interviewing Congresswoman Michele Bachmann in her office in Washington, D.C.  After the cameras were off, Rep. Bachmann opened up to my crew and me about her then upcoming plans to help bring to light the threat of Islam in America. She was working with our PolitiChick friend Frank Gaffney from the Center for Security Policy, so we all knew that anything brought to light by Rep. Bachmann was coming from a legitimate, credible source.

One year later, Rep. Bachmann is being brutally attacked not only by the left but also from people supposedly on “our side”, including John McCain.  The reason is because Rep. Bachmann and four other Congressmen dared to suggest, among other things, that State Department official Huma Abedin (aka Anthony Weiner’s wife) should be investigated for possibly being a leg of the Muslim Brotherhood.

From HuffPo:

“Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) vigorously defended top State Department official Huma Abedin, who is Muslim-American, against allegations by Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) and other conservatives that she is part of a Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy to infiltrate the U.S. government.

‘These allegations about Huma and the report from which they are drawn are nothing less than an unwarranted and unfounded attack on an honorable woman, a dedicated American and a loyal public servant,’ McCain said in a speech on the Senate floor on Wednesday morning.”

Currently a radical group has given Speaker Boehner a petition with 178,000 signatures demanding the removal of Congresswoman Bachmann from the House Permanent Select Committee.  To counter this, the David Horowitz Freedom Center has created a petition in support of Rep. Bachmann, which we at strongly endorse.

Finally, this is my interview with Rep. Bachmann in which she talks about the threat of Islam and much more:

hang tough michele we americans are with you

  3. downs1 says:

Michelle Bachmann, Bravo! We respect you, we admire you, we trust you, and we like you. You do not waffle, you do not lie, you do not test the wind’s direction, but you consistently do what your Christian values dictate! In short you are a Stateswoman before you are a politician, and for that we applaud you! Those who play both sides of the aisle and who laud you one day and stab you in the back the next day (and I mean the so-called “Republican Establishment”) are the reason we are in trouble as a nation. We know the liberals are intellectually.dishonest; we know they have an ulterior motive for everything they do which is against everything this great nation once stood for. Scripturally, we know that human government is under the power of Satan, the “prince of this world” system. But within that structure are those who are God’s elect and who keep God’s precepts alive. You do that along with some others. Please know that we pray for those in government who were placed in that position to stand against the evil that weakens the nation. Eventually, God will judge those who make a mockery of His word, and He will reward you for your courageous stand for what is right, responsible, and for the benefit of the people. Keep up the good work!

    McCain should be flogged

  5. mcbee555 says:

McCain has become a clown. I have respected that man for the ordeal he endured in a North Korean prison camp (Hanoi Hilton) but he is long past being relevant to the Right-wing, mainly because he isn’t “right-wing.” He’s an appeaser and what used to pass for a Republican, until real Republicans showed up, the very people who today, he trivializes while kissing up to other good ol’ boys from the other side. He should retire, his core already has.

  6. Strangerinmyownland says:

    I admire the Congresswoman immensely.
