Overpasses for Obama’s impeachment has a simple goal—the removal of the corrupt and criminal President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama.

The peaceful protests are gaining national attention and recently, one caused a traffic jam on a Southern California freeway.  The group requests that while they want you to notice and read their signs, please keep the traffic moving.  The signs are big enough to read while maintaining your speed.  Feel free to legally park your car and join them!!!

One site states, “The group, ‘Overpasses for Impeachment,’ has gained steam since launching in mid-June and now appears to have a presence on all 50 states.”

The overpass protests are being held during the week and/or on the weekends.  However, the one on August 6 is dedicated to those who were killed on August 6, 2011, in the Extortion 17 incident.  The list of state facebook groups can be found here.

Their website gives their reasons for impeachment and in part, the following describes their mission:  “His actions go unimpeded; our pleas through petitions go unanswered. Our calls and letters to Congress are left ignored and unopened.

“Our only peaceful recourse is to take to the streets and overpasses of America and DEMAND that our nation be returned to We the People, and that Barack Hussein Obama be impeached, removed from office, and held accountable for his actions while serving as President.

“America is in its greatest time of peril in since the Founding Fathers bravely fought in the Revolutionary War. Lady Liberty is calling YOU to stand up, to speak out, to take to the streets and DEMAND that the corrupt tyrant be removed from the White House, and all of those who colluded with him in his crimes against the United States be held accountable to the full extent of the law, with the maximum sentences handed down upon them…

“NOW is your chance to honor the sacrifices of the Founding Fathers, and do your part to preserve their dream of truth, justice and liberty for ALL!…”

I was willing to join but no leadership in my town yet. So proud of this group’s energy and courage.

    • Emily Hinkle Beustring says:

You are encouraged to start your own. What state are you from?

    • Brian says:

Pamela please start your own, that’s how we got started. We grow in numbers every day and it is a great feeling!

      • Pamela Anne says:

Just seeing this now Brian. I do not have the time. I was asked tho. I contribute to the “cause” by writing here on Politichicks, Facebook and debating on liberal sites as well as financial support when i can. It’s the best I can do. Had someone organized it and it was just a couple of hours I might have been able to participate.

  2. MargieAtPolitiChicks says:

Can’t believe how fast this has grown! Great info : )

  3. shearwater says:

Where can I get an “Impeach Barak Hussein Obama” banner?

  4. don says:

Finally there is something happening to get rid of this Bas#### Barrack Obama and make him accountable for his actions and the actions of everyone that works with him. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi among the dirty Bas#### that stand with this Pile of Donkey Dung Barrack Obama. There are many more that are in congress that should be placed in the same sinking ship with Obama and they are not jest Democrats. Many are Republicans that have been called hero’s over the years but if the truth be known they are not hero’s in any meaning of the word hero. John McCain is one of them he has been called a war hero but he was shot down and spent some time in a prisoner of war camp. The thing is that so many people that are real hero’s have never been recognized as a hero and are jest common people living today but sense John McCain is in congress he was tagged with being a hero and never really did anything to earn that honor.
