About Brenda Collins Morris

State Director of PolitiChicks, Georgia, Brenda Collins Morris is a military wife, mom, conservative, proud unapologetic American! She has campaigned for conservative candidates, supports the Wounded… More

As Election Day 2012 is only days away and we contemplate all it means to us as a nation, I’ve found it surprising that some people are still undecided while other voters are still contemplating writing in their third-party candidate.  This election may very well mean the difference between liberty and tyranny and to risk another four years of the Obama regime to prove a point, well who does that hurt exactly?   With the clear realization that a 3rd party candidate can’t win, let’s take a look at the two candidates who are actually in the battle for the presidency.

Although much of President Obama’s past is still hidden from the American public, we know he has a list of shady friends and mentors all the way back to his childhood and that one of those mentors is an avowed Communist, Frank Marshal Davis.  We know about his relationships with known criminals Bernadine Dorhn, Bill Ayers and his friend and mentor of 20 years, Black Liberation Theology Pastor Jeremiah Wright (who regularly “damned America” from his pulpit).

So let’s take a look at Mitt Romney.  Romney doesn’t like to boast about his accomplishments in business, nor does he like to talk about the things he has done for others in need including his charitable giving.  Listening to him talk and watching his body language over the past year and half of his campaign I get the impression he finds it difficult to talk about himself and that he never wants to appear as bragging or proud.  Who doesn’t want our economy to turn around, or want our debt paid, the budget balanced, Americans working again, and to see struggling end for families?  But more than that, we want a President who has character, a man who loves America, our Constitution, and who wants to lead our country back to prosperity because he loves and believes in the people, all of the people!

I wanted to learn more about Mitt the man–and everything I uncovered about the Massachusetts governor was truly impressive.

Like all in the Mormon faith, Mitt served as a missionary for 30 months but didn’t leave his compassion for others on the mission field.  Throughout Mitt’s adult life he has displayed his care and compassion for others over and over.  On the final day of the RNC, a few couples spoke of their relationship with Mitt and his family.

One of those couples, Mark and Sheryl Nixon, talked of their sons Rob and Reed who were in a terrible car accident on their way home from a youth event.  They both ended up quadriplegics and after rehabilitation, The Romney’s showed up on Christmas Eve at their home.  Even though the Romney family didn’t know the Nixon’s, they heard they needed to remodel their home to make it wheelchair accessible.  So they showed up at the Nixon’s door with a stereo in one hand and a check in the other. Mitt told Mr. Nixon that he would pay for his son’s college if necessary and he continued to give the family financial support.

“What is more important to me than the dollar amount is that Mitt could have sent the checks in the mail instead of taking time out and coming over to see us,” Mark Nixon says. “I’m much more impressed with the family values he demonstrated and what it says about who Mitt is.”

Then there is Pat and Ted Oparowski whose son, David, was dying of cancer.

“The memories are still painful,” Pat Oparowski said, “but we wanted to share them with you, because David’s story is part of Mitt’s story, and America deserves to hear it. …the true measure of a man is revealed in the …quiet hospital room of a dying boy, with no cameras and no reporters.  This is the time to make that assessment.”

Mitt organized a fireworks display and party on the beach for David.  He spent time with him and even helped him write a will because he wanted to leave his important possessions to his brother and friend.  Mitt Romney took time out of his schedule to spend time with this young man who was dying.

“How many men do you know who take time out of their busy life to visit a terminally ill fourteen-year-old?” asked Pat.  “We will forever be grateful to Mitt for his love and concern.”

Over the years Romney also served as a bishop in his church where he spent evenings and weekends, usually 10 to 20 hours a week, helping people in need such as single Moms, widows, seniors, unemployed, parents with troubled teens and people with addictions.  Romney shoveled snow, took meals to people and visited the sick.  Once a new neighbor moved in and Mitt came to welcome the family to the neighborhood.  The lady was embarrassed that they didn’t own a dryer and she had laundry hanging all over the house so Mitt just pitched in and helped her fold the laundry.  Later she gave birth to a premature baby and she said that when Mitt visited the baby in the Intensive Care Unit she “saw tears in his eyes” when he reached into the incubator to touch her baby girl.

That Thanksgiving Mitt and the boys showed up at the door with a Thanksgiving feast.  She called Ann to thank her and Ann said, “It was all Mitt’s idea, we just chipped in to help.”

The Romney’s have donated to a number of organizations which are finding cures for cancer, multiple sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, helping disadvantaged and disabled youth and AIDS victims.  Mitt and Ann also founded the Bain Capital Children’s Charity.  Romney also gave away his entire inheritance from his Dad and never took a salary from the state of Massachusetts when he was Governor.

Romney has recently stated that if he is elected President he will take his salary but will donate it to charity.

The list of random acts of kindness goes on and on.  As one person put it, “Mitt Romney has lived his entire life quietly serving others.”

This collection of Mitt Romney’s generosity and acts of kindness is by no means complete.   I found several other examples I didn’t include in this article, but the list is quite impressive.

Can President Obama compare his generosity and acts of kindness to Governor Romney?  As leader of the party who claims to be for the middle class, exactly what has he done both personally and/or professionally to help the middle class or his fellow Americans?  How many jobs has Obama created–what has he built?

On a personal level, just reading about Governor Romney’s quiet acts of kindness and generosity has challenged me to be a better person.  Let’s face it, much of what Gov. Romney has done doesn’t require one be a millionaire; most of us could do many of the things he does regularly, but do we?  Shoveling snow or preparing a meal for a neighbor, visiting the sick, mentoring a child–these should cause all of us to see Mitt Romney in a whole other light!

I haven’t even touched on the fact that Romney clearly is not a follower of Marxism.  Nothing in his background, none of his relationships would cause alarm or throw up any red flags of concern about our freedoms were Romney to become President. I don’t fear that he will fill his cabinet and Administration with avowed Communists, leftist progressives, or radical Islamists.  Romney has declared his love of country and has vowed to support our Military.

Will he always make the right decisions–will he never fail?  Of course not; there is no perfect person, no perfect President.  But we know we have a leader now that is anti-everything we, as freedom loving Americans, stand for.

Yes, I am impressed with Mitt the man, and he has earned the respect and love of many who have been blessed by his kindness and generosity.  Through all the research I’ve done, Mitt Romney seems to be the complete opposite of Barrack Obama and for these reasons I can confidently cast my vote November 6th for Mitt Romney–not as the lesser of two evils, but for the man who I believe will set us on the path to restoring prosperity, strength, and honor to our beloved United States of America!

  1. Conaire says:

Both candidates are backed by, therefore work for, the same ruling elite. Neither of the lessor of two evils address the real problems; i.e., the unconstitutional Federal Reserve System that facilitates the uncontrolled growth of government and the unpayable national debt, the unconstitutional wars, the unconstitutional “Patriot” Act, the NDAA, TSA, Homeland Security (our home grown Brown Shirts) and the demise of the rule of law – at least when it comes to banksters. Electing a better manager that will be slightly more friendly to business is too little too late. We are past the point of no return. We need a drastic cut in the size and scope of government. Neither of the lessor of two evils will make a difference to the ultimate calamity that is coming.
A vote for either of the establishment candidates is an endorsement for our continued enslavement.

    • Doll Parts says:

You are absolutaley correct also! explaining this to neo-caons falls on dead ears…..

    • NamelessN00b says:

What government troll voted you down?

You aren’t sugarcoating things, you’re telling the truth, the plain, simple truth.

      *votes you up 1*

      • Howdy Doody Conservative says:

Let’s put religious beliefs aside for just a moment and consider the Nazi Holocaust on the jews in WW2 Germany. This was the genocide of approximately six million European Jews during World War II, a
program of systematic state-sponsored murder by Germany, led by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, throughout German-occupied territory. Of the nine million Jews who had resided in Europe before the Holocaust, approximately two-thirds were killed. In particular, over one million Jewish children were
killed in the Holocaust, as were approximately two million Jewish women and three million Jewish men.

Now, that was terrible and horrible atrocities, wasn’t it? How is that somehow worse than the terrible attrocities we IMPOSE on the innocent now? come on now, really, get realistic. Just change the names from “state sponsered murder” to abortion, Adolph Hitler to Omurderer and Nazi party to Democratic
party. Oh and dont forget to add a whole bunch of ZEROS to the numbers above! OH, lets try the “use the force of government to impose your will” by making you pay for this genocide with your tax dollars via Obamacare. For sake of argument lets say let then go ahead and suck the viable babies brains out with a suction tube all they want just as long as I don’t have to pay for it. There you have it, where was religion in that argument? Did religion make it any more or less hideous? I doub’t it.

There is only ONE single issue that I need and thats obummers often repeated ditty of “I and planned parenthood” will not yield. He solidified it even more at the second debate when the talk was about obummercare and all he could say was planned parenthood. Gee funny thing on how he was claiming “no new taxes” and obummercare is the largest TAX INCREASE ever foisted on the middle class in history (remember the SOTUS classified it as a TAX!!!) remember his lies before that claiming “this is not a tax”? Back to the single issue, O’murderers support of partial birth abortion is a FACT. Goolgle
partial birth abortion, do your homework for once, and tell me how much you can support that?

Abortion and Planned Parenthood (murderers) are the core of Obamacare. Listen to all the miltant feminist in O’murderers cabinet description of “pro-choice” of: If she want’s it it’s a baby and if she doesn’t want it it’s a fetus!
Consider partial-birth abortions. The unborn baby is put into a breach position. The baby’s legs are pulled into the birth canal. The abortionist delivers the entire baby, except the head. The abortionist jams a pair of scissors into the skull of the baby. Then the scissors are opened to enlarge the hole. The scissors are removed and a suction tube is inserted. The baby’s brain is sucked out, causing the skull to colaspe. The dead baby is then removed and discarded.
This is what the Democratic party and OMURDERER are enthusiasitcally in support of Remember 3rd party voters and undecideds, the above is what you are really voting for/against when you waste your vote on any other party or canidate but R&R. Forget Bilderbergs, Trilateral commission, Art. 21, new world order, Free Masons any other yadda, yadda. Remember, Romney is puppeteered by less of those strings due to the influence of his Mormon cult and focus on ONE issue. Abortion, parial birth bortion and Planned Parenthood are at the core of Obamacare and the democrapic party.
If you vote third party or Dem…THIS IS WHAT YOU ARE CONDONING!!!
The closet muslims (or the black social gospel via Jerimiah Wright which is as bad) train is heading toward the cliff of the destruction of America at 100 miles an hour. The Mormon train has this slide slowed to 20 miles an hour. I think I want to be on the SLOWER train!

I’ll trade Mormon values for marxist values any day! I’ll trade trickle down PROSPERITY for tricle up POVERTY any day! I’ll take ANY Pro-life canidate and adherent to the Republican party (pro life) platform over the murderous Oslimy and his Partial birth abortion buddies – the adherents to the
        democrap platform and ideals.

  2. Bob Marshall says:

The same Wall Street bankers who funded Obamas campaign in 2008 with Goldman Sachs again leading the way gave the most to the Romney campaign this time. Watch Romney Obama the Same? and The Ultimate Mitt Romney flip-flop Collection on youtube and tell me where the real difference is. If you don’t want someone to remember something you don’t say it. Ann Romney once said that Mitt could take either side of an argument and win it. has anyone paid attention to who Romney said would be members of his administration. how many came from the Bush administration. Some of the same individuals who led America to war in Iraq.

  3. Matt says:

I already knew Mitt was the right choice — and I knew this back in 2008. THIS time, America will get it right.

    • Nameless App 1989 says:

So I’m guessing putting Romney in charge of Obama’s Gestapo is the right choice?

The NDAA legalizes indefinite detention without due process. McCain co-wrote it, Obama signed it, Romney agreed with Obama on it, and should he replace Obama, expect the same “Holocaust Part 2″ that Obama had planned for us all.

  4. M-Theory says:

Who are all you posters? I’m shocked that you’re so short-sighted. There are some stark differences: Obama hates America. Romney loves America. Obama believes in a strong central government. Romney believes in a strong State government. Obama put away the Constitution and has flaunted it frequently. Romney supports the Constitution and lives the 10th amendment as well as supports the military. Obama prints money. Romney earns money. Obama hasn’t stimulated the economy. Romney has stimulated and saved several different kinds of economies including a State. Please, stop the 3rd Party madness. It’s too late for that right now. Do you actually want Obama to win again just to make your point that Romney isn’t as Conservative as you? He’s said he’ll work with us. Obama hasn’t EVER said that.

  5. james wells says:

…….a vote for a third party write in or whatever is a vote for obama…..have the courage to admit that and the good sense to vote accordingly

    • Tim Brown says:

james could you pull out a piece of paper and write “obama”, “romney” and “third party” on it? Now put a mark under “third party”…………tell me when it moves on its own under the name “obama.”

  6. So what, so what, so what…? This doesn’t change the fact that according to 1 Timothy 3:16 with 2 John 1:7 that Mitt Romney is a Mormon antichrist and that according to 2 John 1:8-11, if you help elect him into the White *House,* you’ll will be held accountable by Yahweh. See also 1 Timothy 5:22. And, yes, I know Obama is a Muslim antichrist. Help elect him and you’ll also answer to Yahweh.

This article only goes to further prove why, if elections were Biblical to begin with, why women should have never been given the vote. For more, see Chapter 28 “Amendment 19: The Curse of Women’s Suffrage” at

    • Nameless App 1989 says:

      ^ This guy.

The solution to our problems should not create more problems.

      NObamney for 2012!

Vote Paul, Johnson, or Stein. At least with any of those 3, you won’t have to tremble in fear after dropping the soap at Gitmo’s bathroom.

  7. Great article, Brenda. We have TWO choices this election–a Right choice & a WRONG choice, no in-between.

    • Tim Brown says:

two choices? hmmmm there are a myriad of other contenders in the race for president this election cycle who are much more Constitutional than either of the two from the major parties.

  8. Howdy Doody Conservative says:

Obama is just another Bilerbrg/new world order puppets. I don’t believe that Romney has as many strings attached as others and the influence of the Mormon church may be greater than the new world order puppeteers.

There is a “bigger picture” . I believe that God is soverign and in charge and picks the rulers. By the same token there are two ways a values or biblical voter can go. If you go purely by biblical prophecy the new world order is going to happen anyway. But we are called to be salt & light and be involved.

I am taking the word Christian out of the argument below and replacing it with “values”.

Keeping you in mind, there are 2 ways a values voter could go:
voter #1: Vote only on principle. You vote for a candidate, not against one. You only vote for a candidate who agrees with your nonnegotiable positions.Voter #1 feels this is the only way to have a clear conscience.

voter #2: Vote for the greater good. This Values voter disagrees with voter #1. This is the voter who believes in strategically avoiding or limiting the most evil. It’s not a matter of “choosing the lesser of two evils.” we must never choose evil.Instead, your vote for the imperfect candidate is strategically used to limit evil—and that in itself is a morally sound choice.

There are three key benefits to this approach:
Your vote keeps the worst person from being elected—and doing even more harm. This is a good moral choice.
You’re voting for some good positions—a morally good choice. You’re voting for more than just that position. For example, a Governor will appoint over 300 judges, commissioners and other important positions.
The candidate most aligned to your values will appoint more people who are acceptable.

I believe that the primarys in June were where I was a #1 above but alas our system forces me to be a voter #2 at this junction for this most important election of our time.

Im sorry but you gotta face the reality and the facts that a vote for anyone else is a vote for Obama and the time to be a purist is past. I fear as with the majority of values voter feel is that if Comrade Obama wins you won’t have another opportunity to be a purist. So get over the GOP Ron Paul and Gary Johnson politics and be a purist “to limit evil” and do everything to vote against BO and not for him with a 3rd party, write in or “other” vote.

  9. WhereDoTheseIdiotsComeFrom? says:

You, sir, are dead wrong, and by not acknowleging that Mormon’s are Christians, you have done yourself and others a great diservice. If you continue to try to vote for a third party candidate, whose party is negligible, you serve only to allow the abomination that is Obama to serve 4 more years without restraint. He will abrogate all our laws, circumvent the Constitution, and institute a One World Order led by Satan himself through his minions. Then YOU will have to answer to God. In case you have no idea that you have been fed misinformation about Mormons, you should go to the source at or and see for yourself. As for women not voting, you are definitely a misogynist and might just as well lock yourself into your closet. Some of the greatest women of the Bible have had immense influence in the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ…and don’t forget Esther, the young Jewish maiden who was able to save the Jews from extinction because of her bravery and the love her husband Boaz had for this righteous woman. You will live to regret your words.

    • I’ll not play words with you. As a Mormon, you know as well as I that your God and your Jesus are not the same as the Bible’s God and Jesus. Therefore, you may claim all day long that you believe in Jesus, but it’s the wrong Jesus:

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” (Matthew 24:4-5)

As for your claim that I hate women, I guess Moses must have hated women when, in Exodus 21:21-22, he only indicated men were to be chosen as judges? (If you want to know about Deborah, read the Chapter I cited above.) I guess, Isaiah must have hated women when, in Isaiah 3:13, he declared it was a curse when children (like your “elders”) and women rule over men? I guess Paul must have hated women when, in 1 Timothy 2:12, he said women were not to exercise authority over men?

  10. Howdy Doody Conservative says:

35 Reasons You’re an Idiot if You Don’t Vote for Romney
•A president who has us on the road to serfdom?

•A president who advocates higher taxes? Wealth redistribution, less freedom and less opportunity?

•A president coated in Teflon who freely gets away as an accomplice to the murdering of innocent Americans?

•A president who circumvents the constitution, but bows to Saudi kings?

•A president who nationalizes sectors of our free market economy and single handedly picks winners and losers?

•A president who forces you to buy goods and services you don’t want and then fines you for not following his orders?

•A president who is systematically bankrupting our country while giving away tens of billions of dollars to our enemies abroad?

•A president who, for the first time in American history, is robbing your children and grand children of the same freedoms, opportunities and dreams that were handed down to you and me?

•A president who does not believe in the supremacy and exceptionalism of the United States of America?

•A president who despises our military so much that he jeopardizes our national security by cutting their budget in half?

•A president who is about to foist the single biggest tax increase on the American people in the 237-year history of our country come January 1st?

•A president whose political ideology takes delight in a record 47 million Americans now on food stamps?

•A president who invests tens of billions of dollars in failing green companies that are headed by some of his biggest campaign donors?

•A president who refuses to approve a desperately needed oil pipeline that would help put many Americans to work while decreasing our dependence on foreign oil?

•A president who usurps the Constitution, ignores the separation of powers, thumbs his nose at congress and issues executive orders with impunity?

•A president with deeply rooted ties to domestic terrorists and radical Muslims and Marxists?

•A president whose upbringing was heavily influenced by radical Communists and Socialists?

•A president who appoints members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood to his cabinet?

•A president who shuns the leader of Israel, our only democratic ally in the Middle East,
in favor of appearances on celebrity T.V. talk shows?

•A president who makes back door deals with leaders of Communist countries conditioned upon his reelection?

  11. Howdy Doody Conservative says:

Very well done & stated video that says it all:

Pastor Weiland below would probably have problems with it because it was produced by the Catholics and due to the fact that they “sprinkle” instead of “dunk”.

  12. Don Schanzenbach says:

Voting for Romney is an evil thing to do. For Christians, we know that we do not have to ever choose evil. We are to imitate Jesus who the prophets tell us knew to choose good. We are to always choose good and never choose evil. It is inherently evil for Christian people to choose to be ruled by a heretic, idolater, trinity denying, true Christ denying, poser Christian. Do not get pulled in by this crazy logic that says a vote for anyone but Romney is a vote for Obama. After all, I am also not voting for Obama, so does that mean I am voting for Romney. Am man votes for whom he votes for. I choose not to vote for evil – ever. We should only vote for Biblically qualified candidates – period. For more on Christian culture and the vote

    • Howdy Doody Conservative says:

The top five reasons Barack Obama should not be re-elected as President

17 million “evangelicals” didn’t even bother to vote in 2008. How did that work out for ya?

We now have an uprecedented attack on, life, marriage, Isreal, small business, families, freedom & America.

If Barack Obama is given the flexibility of an UNCHECKED SECOND TERM, you can expect the internet to be regulated, the dollar to be worthless, the Constitution to be shredded, the civilian military to show up at your door for “speech violations” to name a few and thats why I endorse Romney/Ryan.

What part of EXTREMISM of Obama don’t some of you people seem to comprehend?

He voted THREE(3) times AGAINST “BORN ALIVE INFANT PROTECTION ACT”. How could any sensient being condone a person who openly supports PARTIAL BIRTH ABORTION the way Oslimey does?

Either we unite behind Romney and Ryan now or we tell our children what it WAS like to be free.

  13. M-Theory says:

Really? That’s your defense? Isn’t that like closing the barn door after the horses have run away? At this point (before any real election reforms have taken place), if you don’t vote or you vote for a 3rd Pary/write-in, you might as well be casting a vote for Obama. Do you not understand the effects that any vote but Romney, in this election, will have on America? All your self-righteous psuedo-principles will achieve is more Obamunism. We don’t have any other election procedures in place at this time to allow you the luxury of sitting on your proverbial high horse and throwing your vote away on a candidate who can’t win. Next election, it might be possible to move even further right, but to start the move right, we have to consider the Independents who are more attracted to a center-right candidate. Please do a little bit more research into the election process. This is high school civics. The time to take your stand was 3 years ago when it became obvious to many of us that the president was a communist and then during the primary, not now during the election to oust the communist.

  14. Conaire says:

We don’t have to vote for the lessor of two evils. Gary Johnson has taken the baton from Ron Paul. If Gary Johnson gets 5% of the vote, the Libertarian party becomes a major party, then eligible for $90 million in matching campaign funds, and they get on every state ballot. With $90 million the Republocrats will have a much harder time killing the message of individual liberty and constitutional government.

  15. Bob Marshall says:

After watching both Romney Obama the Same? and The Ultimate Mitt Romney Flip-Flop Collection on youtube when it first came out i wonder which Mitt Romney would we get? I know what we would have with four more years of Obama.

  16. Howdy Doody Conservative says:

I Like Dr. Ron and respect him for many views which I appreciated more than any others. There are however some other views of his that made someone else my first choice (NOT Romney). Do you notice anyone else going as ape$h-t as Paul supporters which is almost as shrill as the lib’s/ Yet the biggest question mark about Dr. Paul and his son was whether they would fall into line when push came to shove. They did. Without sacrificing their principles.
At the Texas GOP Convention, Ron Paul addressed the issue that frustrates many people (including me) who like and respect him personally: the vocal, unbending supporters who were/are unwilling to accept any outcome other than Dr. Paul in the White House.

Diligence and support are good, however, too many of them are militant and abusive toward anyone disagreeing with them. My criticism of Dr. Paul is that he never reined those vocal supporters in. Until recently.
On the first day of the largest state convention in calendar year 2012, he told his supporters that upon arriving in Tampa for the Republican National Convention, they were to “be respectful.” This is a big deal. Maybe they will listen. Dr. Paul’s son, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, also offered a major olive branch later in the evening by OFFICIALY ENDORSING GOVERNOR ROMNEY and pledging to actively campaign for him.
The bottom line is that Dr. Paul and his son do not appear to be trying to blow up the Republican Party. They seem to realize that they have a better chance of advancing their goals in the long run by working within the system. For all the talk about being revolutionaries, Dr. Paul wants to see his movement become mainstream. This has always been where Dr. Paul diverges from his most hard-core supporters. They often want an all-or-nothing approach, leaving them marginalized. Dr. Paul is willing to take what he can get now and come back for the rest later. This is not “selling out.” This is “pragmatism,” which does not have to be a dirty word. While many of his supporters CROSS THE LINE (hint, hint), Dr. Paul himself is a polite individual. He is a gentleman, and a rather funny and likable one at that. He ran an impressive race. Yet IN THE END, MITT ROMNEY WON. This should not be a source of shame for Dr. Paul, since NONE of the other candidates toppled Romney either.
Many Paul supporters have said that they will only vote for Ron Paul. Now that even Rand Paul has publicly supported Romney, Paul supporters should do the same.
There will be times when Paul supporters will be frustrated with Romney, this is going to be true of any President. The same can be said about Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum supporters.
If President Obama gets reelected, the Paul supporters get absolutely nothing, even though some of them see zero difference between Obama and Romney. This is plain wrong. Ron Paul understands this, and so does his son. Paul’s supporters should heed him, be respectful, and advance their beliefs while supporting Romney. Yet if Paul supporters need to do some outreach, so do critics. This includes me. I have often distinguished Paul supporters from the more vocally challenging “Paulbots.” If those individuals, mostly young college students, continue to demand a Paul presidency, then they will have learned nothing about outreach and defied the guy they claim to deeply believe in.
If they decide to be mature in their approach, then they deserve the benefit of the doubt. After all, we all need to learn how to forgive and move on. They will all be referred to as “Paul supporters.” As of this moment, the slate is clean. So on this day, even Neocons should understand how difficult it was for Ron and Rand Paul to line up behind Mitt Romney. They did the right thing, and deserve the credit that comes along with making that tough, but right, choice. The Paul supporters will not get everything they want from a foreign policy standpoint at this time. There is not a consensus. Yet on economics and domestic policy, Dr. Paul has plenty of good ideas to offer.
His comment attacking New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg for trying to regulate soda was cheered by non-interventionist Paleocons and Neocons alike. By Paul supporters STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE WITH ROMNEY, we all have a better chance of benefitting from those good ideas that Dr. Paul has. My attitude toward the Paul movement was that if they chose to bolt and go third party, then they could get lost. Well Dr. Paul decided to be part of the Republican team. For that reason, an outstretched hand is the appropriate reaction. So let’s give Ron and Rand Paul credit and don’t be such a crybaby and get on with the business of removing BO. Now let’s all work together to fire Barack Obama and elect Mitt Romney President of the United States. It will be easier with all of you. If BO gets another 4 years that might just be the end of our republic or at least the damage will be un-fixable which I fear it might already be.

That’s a huge risk to take considering most people haven’t heard of Gary Johnson, so all it’ll do is take away 5% from Mitt Romney who is polling ahead at about 4-5%. It doesn’t matter if Johnson gets on every ballot this election. He can’t win. All he can do is perform as spoiler for Obama. You’re living in a dream world if you believe that 5% of the vote makes Libertarianism a major party. What is it you’re trying to prove here when there is so much at stake? Is making the Libertarian party a “major” party so important, that you’d be willing to risk becoming a communist nation? That’s what’ll happen. Obama has shown his true colors. It’ll be more of the same at an even more accelerated rate – right down the tubes to loss of the liberty you claim to prize. The time to fight for conservatism is AFTER the election of a centrist who leans right and listens when people make a good case. Your spoiler Johnson is going to hand the election to Obama. Me and several thousand others naively voted for Perot back in the day. He took 17% of the vote and that got us Bill-I-never-had-sex-with-that-woman-Clinton. 3rd Parties and spoilers don’t work. I think you know this, but refuse to listen.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows Mitt Romney and President Obama each attracting support from 48% of voters nationwide. One percent (1%) prefers some other candidate, and another two percent (2%) are undecided.

Face it and be real.Look at all these 3rd party canidates and tell me if a vote for any one of these fringe elements would ever, ever have a chance?
1% and 2% undecided! Here’s the list (many)

Your (1%) will not change anything but help Obummer’s chances.

The simple plain fact and sad truth is that a vote for any 3rd party is a vote for Comrade Obama. Your voice just doesn’t count and is meaningless.

I used to think idealogically like you but came to my senses and settled down to the fate of voting to keep someone out of office. Give me the Mormons values any day to the church of planned parenthood.

Yea your canidate Gary Johnson is going to have an interview/debate Oct. 23 on Ora TV (larry King) and RussiaTV. That big 1% is going to tune into that one, what a joke

There are a lot of good things about Gary Johnson on the issues of Unemployment, social security, tax reform, national budjet, healthcare (repeal obummercare), environment. But as a conservative he shoots himself in the foot with his views on: approve same sex marriage, PRO CHOICE, evolutionist, outlaw death penalty, believes in climate change, legalize pot, for fetal stem cell research, immigration.

Well, there ya go, gimme the Mormon any day! I grew up with lots of Mormons around me, had a lot of Mormon friends and dated a lot of cute Mormon girls when I was a kid and always had a lot of fun and wonderful times with them and their families. They were always good and loyal friends. I know their solid family values and embrace them but i do not embrace their theolgy. Some Lib’s I know treat Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetero, as the MESSIAH.

The biggest danger to the survival of this country is the progressive marxist during the last 4 years and you aint seen nuthin yet if MAObama gets another 4 years.

Heres a site where you can sort ALL by the issues. Gary does not make it by a conservatives sort criteria.

I’ll trade Mormron values for marxist values any day! I’ll trade trickle down PROSPERITY for tricle up POVERTY any day!

Oh?!?! I”m sorry! Maybe the third party canidate you were going to vote for was Roseanne Barr or perhaps one of the Communist canidates?

it’s sad that rationale makes sense to you…..I prefer the leadership of a successful American businessman who has similar values to my own than 4 more years of the current morass, deception, and harmful policies of this administration…..

    Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts, turned it into Staples; now over 2,000 stores employing 90,000 people.

Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino’s, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad’s gubernatorial campaign 1 year.

He was an unpaid intern in his dad’s governor’s office for eight years.

He was an unpaid bishop and state president of his church for ten years.

He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.

He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four years.

He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.

Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country but has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.

And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income…. Just for comparison purposes, Obama gave 1% and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.

What does Barry Sotero have to show for that period? Ayers, Acorn and smoking pot.

  21. “Romney prints money?”I didn’t know that Romney was in charge of the Federal Reserve, thanks for that info. Unless you meant he’s a counterfeiter.

  22. NamelessN00b says:

None of that makes up for the fact that he and Obama may as well be the same candidate, who have nobody’s safety, sanity, liberty, or happiness in mind, save their own.

  23. NamelessN00b says:

Last month, a partial audit of the fed revealed we are $16 trillion and counting in debt.

Someone said that Ron Paul was right when he said Obama isn’t to blame for that.

Bernanke’s solution to this dilemma is the same solution that got us this deep in debt.

Romney said he wanted an audit of the fed two months ago, but in April, he also defended the fed. If we can’t trust a liar like Obama to deal with the fed as a whole, we can’t trust a serial flip-flopper like Romney either.

Hence, “Romney prints money.” If you can’t/won’t stop the fed from printing, you may as well print with them.
